VR training Forklift inspection
A forklift needs to be inspected, before it can be used on the work floor. In this VR training trainees learn the correct procedure to do this. At the moment it is not mandatory for an employee to have a forklift certificate, but an employer is obliged to offer a safe working environment. In VR the trainee learns which aspects of a forklift need to be inspected, to make it safe to drive with in on the work floor.
Inspection of the forklift
The environment in the VR training is created to resemble the real environment as much as possible. When a trainee enters the work floor after the training, this gives them a familiair feeling and confidence to do the right tasks.
The scenario of the VR training is built in a way that each time different defects of the forklift are shown and need to be recognized. The first trainees sees different defects then the second trainee.
What you learn during VR training
- During the training a trainee learns the recognize all aspects from a forklift that need to be inspected
- The trainee learns to recognize different, possible defects from the several parts of the forklift that need to inspected
